9 Insane Movie Theories That Actually Make Sense

4. Stan Lee Is The God Of The Universe In Every Marvel Movie

Stan Lee is often thought to be the ultimate genius when it comes to Marvel, having pioneered the comic books and created (or co-created) most of its greatest characters.

As a result, his thing in old age (he's 92-years-old now) has been to appear in literally all of the Marvel movies ever made. The man has appeared in a cameo in every Marvel Cinematic Universe to date, and he's had a bunch of other appearances in lots of films outside of that canon, too (the X-Men and Spider-Man films, for example).

This has led many fans to believe that Lee is actually a "Watcher," which are - in the context of Marvel comics - old, omniscient beings whose job is to observe and compile information about everything that happens. That Lee can be glimpsed in so many of the movies (in various alter-egos) gives this theory a lot of weight.

And who better to play the God of all things in the MCU better than the actual God of all things Marvel? It all makes so much freakin' sense!
