Captain America: Civil War: 9 Most Compelling Pieces Of Evidence That Proves Iron Man Will Die

9. Captain America Probably Won't Die

OK, so the popular candidate to bite the psychic-travel bullet is Iron Man's Civil War rival, Captain America. After all, he was killed in the aftermath of the comic arc and Chris Evans hasn't exactly been coy about his desire to focus on smaller, arthouse projects. And if Captain America 3 is rounding off a trilogy Except none of that really counts as evidence any more. Evans has said, since those initial comments, that he actually quite likes the reliable critical and financial success Steve Rogers gives him and based on the trailers the movie is shaping up to be vastly different to what happened in print; for Marvel to adapt this one element faithfully would show a really sudden change of heart. I've written a whole piece on why he's unlikely to die, and while it's always possible Marvel will play it safe, there's very little concrete evidence to back up this thinking. And without Cap dying, well, there's only really one other option.
