Jackie Chan is one of the most talented stunt performers in the game, and has been for years. Unafraid to put his body at serious risk for the purpose of a madcap, entertaining scene and with a fairly high success rate... when Jackie Chan tells the people making his film that he wants to do something, they just go ahead and let him do it. Case in point; when filming Who Am I?, the shoot was on location in Rotterdam. Upon noticing the Willemswerf Building, with its steep incline of a glass roof, Chan's natural first reaction was to want to slide down it - with no safety equipment whatsoever. It took him two weeks to work up the nerve to slide down those 21 storeys, but by gum he did it, and the results are cool as f*ck. To be fair to the man, I probably could have chosen any number of stunts from his career - from jumping 15 feet out of a castle window in Armour of God (a stunt he flubbed, which resulted in brain surgery to save his life) to crawling backwards across hot coals in The Legend of Drunken Master. But whereas those stunts were dangerous, his rooftop slide in Who Am I? could have been fatally so, with no hope of being brought back from the brink. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ticE-Eg7I8o What do you think of the picks on this list?
