Amy Adams starred in the 2008 rom-com Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, and while you might assume she'd be the one distracting other actors with her beauty during a shoot, in this case it's actually quite the opposite.

Adams' screen love interest in the film was co-star Lee Pace, who proved so appealing to Amy that he became a production-slowing distraction to her during shooting.

Adams admitted:

"Lee wasn't working that day, so he was just lounging. He's 6'4, so he's a lot of boy, and he was wearing cowboy boots... I was kind of staring at him, because he painted such a picture, and the director came over, and I was completely in this land of admiring Lee... And [director Bharat Nalluri] goes over and tells him, 'Can you leave the set? Amy's distracted by your masculinity.' I was mortified."

If it kept Adams from being her usual professional self, it at least ensured her romantic chemistry with Pace didn't require much faking.
