8. Slimer Is In The Ghostbusters Reboot

We found out last week what the Ghostbusters reboot's antagonist, Rowan, would look like (basically a meaner version of the series' iconic logo), and it was confirmed days ago that the franchise's most memorable ghost will also be appearing in the new movie. Michael K. Williams, who plays an FBI agent in the film, said of the shoot, "I€™m not going to lie, working with Melissa, and Kristen, and Kate, was really dope. But...I got to work with Slimer, dude. Like Slimer! I€™m in a scene with Slimer! I€™m a huge Ghostbusters fan and it was a dream come true." It'll be interesting to see how the new Slimer looks given how visual effects have moved on in the last three decades, and hopefully director Paul Feig won't ruin a beloved movie character.
