9 Movie Spoilers We Didn’t Know Last Week (May 24th)
1. Star Wars Episode VIII Features An Epic Lightsaber Battle
A leak from a fairly reliable outlet for Star Wars spoilers in the past claims that Star Wars Episode VIII will feature a lightsaber battle with Rey and Luke Skywalker taking on Kylo Ren and the Knights of Ren.
On the planet Ahch-To, just as a rainstorm rolls in, Kylo Ren attacks Rey, while Luke takes on the Knights. Luke then Force-pushes a Knight over a cliff edge before igniting his green lightsaber and decimating the rest of the unit with ease.
Kylo will then defeat Rey in battle, though the particulars of this aren't given away, and as Luke steps up to take on Kylo, he will see his defeated unit and take leave.
It sounds both plausible and ridiculously cool, so we'll believe it until we hear otherwise.
