7. Burke Gets Killed Running Away From The Only People Who Can Protect Him - Aliens

Every single death in Aliens can be laid at the feet of slimy executive Carter Burke. He was the one who sent the colonists to the derelict ship, without warning them of what it contained. This lead to an outbreak, which meant the marines and Ripley had to be called in. He even tried to get Ripley and Newt impregnated by facehuggers so he could smuggle alien samples back. With that much negative karma he was never going to survive. He's a coward even in his final moments, when he flees from a firefight and locks the marines in with an attacking swarm. Why he thought it was a good idea to run off unarmed from the men protecting him is anyone's guess. but his plan literally comes back to bite him in the neck when he's ambushed and killed by an alien warrior soon after. Off-screen, sadly. A deleted scene revealed an even more deserving fate, where he was brought back to the nest and impregnated. Ripley gives him a grenade so he can finish himself off, but even then he's too much of a wimp to go through with it.
