7. Would You Rather
If it's messed-up games with high stakes you're after then Would You Rather will be right up your alley. Just as with Squid Game's innocent sounding playground tasks, this film sees people invited to a dinner party to play a simple game of Would You Rather. We all know it, you choose between silly hypotheticals or maybe between small but slightly gross dares -- 'would you rather eat a spoon of marmite or lick the floor?' for example.
Whilst either of those options would be pretty grim, they absolutely pale in comparison to the challenges posed to the participants in Would You Rather. With all sorts of murders and mutilations put on the table, players have to try to survive to the end of the game whilst keeping their conscience as clear as possible.
As always there's a cash incentive in place, with our central girl Iris relying on winning in order to get her hands on the money to pay for her brother's cancer treatment. As with the participants in Squid Game, both Iris' life and her future wealth hinge on her performance in Would You Rather. Good thing you don't have to choose between these two, you can watch both!
