9 Movies You've Never Fully Seen (But Hopefully Will)

2. Galaxy Quest

Cult classic sci-fi comedy Galaxy Quest is arguably one of the funniest and most charming films of the late-90s, and over 20 years later is still fondly remembered by a legion of genre fans.

But according to both producer Lindsey Collins and star Sigourney Weaver, the film originally received an R-rating for language and sexual content, with numerous cuts being made to bring it down to a more commercial PG-13.

This is noticeable, quite hilariously, several times throughout the movie, as various characters have clearly had a word or two re-dubbed in post-production. Memorably, Sigourney Weaver's Gwen DeMarco says "Screw that!", but this was clearly dubbed over her actually saying, "F**k that!"

Weaver has talked-up the R-rated cut in the past, and perhaps he might be able to leverage this original cut finally seeing the light of day.
