5. The Supporting Cast Has Already Been Introduced

One of the biggest challenges associated with a spin-off movie isn't just further building up the protagonist, but also introducing a host of entertaining supporting characters in a two-hour run-time.

Thankfully Logan again did a lot of the leg-work here, as Laura's fellow child experiments, especially Rictor, would make for great comrades in her next outing.

We already know their powers and a little about their personalities, so like Laura herself, it'd be a shame if they were only taken advantage of for one single movie. Again, it depends on what the other actors are doing and whether or not they actually want to return, but Rictor in particular has great sidekick potential.
