3. Lando Will Return
The core of the originals are coming back, with the big three all confirmed as well as Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, and Peter Mayhew. One popular character not set to return - yet - is Billy Dee Williams, better known as Lando Calrissian. He was talked about for The Force Awakens, but such an appearance doesn't seem to have materialised (and if it does, then fair play to Disney for managing to keep that a secret). However, Williams is still very much an active part of the Star Wars universe, having appeared in the animated series Rebels, and would be up for a return to the live-action series. According to Making Star Wars, merchandisers are being informed of Lando's return for Episode VIII, to "avenge a friend and lead a fleet." While it'd be great to see him back in action, will it be worth the potential cost?
