9 “Shocking” Movie Twists Fans Figured Out Before Seeing The Movie

8. Rose Is "Ritchie" - Color Of Night

Color Of Night was Bruce Willis€™ attempt to get in on the erotic thriller craze that briefly swept Hollywood after Basic Instinct, but it€™s a movie he€™d probably rather forget. He plays a therapist, who €“ following the suicide of a patient €“ loses the ability to see the colour red; and that€™s not even close to the dumbest thing in the movie. He takes over the therapy group of a murdered friend, which includes a teenager with transgender issues. Around the same time he meets - and starts having steamy softcore scenes with - a beautiful woman called Rose, who looks strangely familiar; to be more precise, Rose is very clearly Ritchie without the terrible wig or glasses. How or why the filmmakers thought this twist would be shocking is a mystery in itself, and the movie takes two whole hours to build up to the "reveal." The clue is even in the name; Roses are red, and what colour can he not see again?

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
