3. Oberhauser Is Blofeld - Spectre
After the whole I AM KHAN! debacle of Star Trek Into Darkness, J.J. Abrams did some soul-searching and admitted keeping the characters identity a mystery was a mistake. So why the producers of Spectre went ahead and made the exact same mistake a couple of years later is unknown, since any right thinking fan knew Blofeld was going to show up; the movie is called Spectre, after all. They played dumb anyway, pretending Christophe Waltz was playing a brand new villain named Oberhauser, and Waltz himself swore he wasnt playing Blofeld. The fanbase smiled and nodded, playing along until they could see the movie and have their theory proved correct. The sheer futility of keeping it a secret is what made it so annoying, and the extra twist that Blofeld was Bonds adopted brother for a few years just piled more insult on top.
