9 Terrible Movie Characters Who Really Should Have Been Cut

2. Oz - American Pie

Chris Klein In 1999, the porn industry and the internet would change forever with the addition of the acronym 'MILF' to the English language. But by my count, the film carries one too many leads. Jason Bigg's Jim was the awkward protagonist, struggling with his body and the improbability of a foreign cheerleader ever wanting to have sex with him. Kevin Myers was the sensitive straight man, obsessed with his girlfriend and the idea of love itself. Steve Stifler was the obnoxious athlete, punching, drinking and sexing his way into the high-school A-list. And lastly, Paul Finch - the high-school pseudo-sophisticate that catastrophically failed in all his endeavors except one - boning Stifler's Mom. So where does Chris Klein's Oz fit in? As the athlete? The sensitive one? The unlikely choirboy? Regardless of how groundbreaking the original film was to the R-rated comedy institution, the character of Oz remains a 'been there, done that' misfire, embodying all the most typical traits of his fellow cast members.
