9 Theories That Answer HUGE MCU Mysteries

2. The Fantastic Four Will Be Part Of SWORD

One of the biggest questions that has hung over the MCU since the very beginning is how the franchise will integrate the Fantastic Four. With Marvel's first family's rights firmly now under the Marvel Studios umbrella, naturally the theories have started to ramp up. Many of them revolve around Reed Richards and co. occupying Avengers Tower, but if Dario Agger is buying the building, Marvel will have to come up with something different.

The four will have to be introduced in a way that doesn't raise the 'where have they been all this time?' question. Perhaps the answer, according to this theory, lies with Nick Fury and his new Skrull friends.

The Spider-Man: Far From Home post credits scene showed the SHIELD director beyond the stars, seemingly teasing SWORD - basically SHIELD but in space. This would be the perfect situation to introduce the Fantastic Four.

There would be no one from the entire Marvel universe that would be better suited to assist Fury in space than Reed Richards, while Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm are already established pilots in the comics, and the Invisible Woman comic series has confirmed that Sue Storm worked with SHIELD early in her career. This would make more sense than Reed and Sue purchasing the Avengers Tower, and would provide the heroes with a genuinely satisfying origin story.
