9 Theories That Answer HUGE MCU Mysteries

1. Thanos Created Galactus

With the Fantastic Four come the rights to one of the greatest villains Marvel has to offer. Galactus has been completely destroyed by Fox in his previous big screen iteration, so surely it is only a matter of time before the gigantic alien is introduced into the MCU.

What if, however, the villain has already been introduced, we just haven't seen him yet? This theory revolves around Thanos' original plan, and the fact that technically it was flawed and would have always been undone by time itself.

Thanos halved the population of the entire universe, but after enough years had passed, it would have naturally grown back to its previous 'problematic' levels. This is why, according to this theory, when Thanos used the stones in the Garden to destroy the stones, he also created his insurance policy to ensure his work stayed done - Galactus.

The Devourer of Worlds is sent into the universe by Thanos to destroy entire worlds at a time, never allowing the universe's population to grow back to what it once was by conducting regular culls on a planetary level. This allowed the Mad Titan to destroy the stones and even be killed by Thor, knowing, in theory, that his work could never be undone.
