7. Winston Will Ascend To The High Table

One of the mainstays of this series is Ian McShane’s Winston, the enigmatic manager of the Manhattan Continental. The motivations behind Winston’s bending of his own house rules become a little more unveiled in Chapter 3, when we learn that he has sights on becoming a more powerful entity within the criminal world. Has Winston been manipulating John from the very beginning to help him with whatever ulterior motives he has? Could it be that Winston wants to rise up to the High Table? Or has his plan been to take down the High Table all along?

One thing is for certain: given the shocking ending of Chapter 3, we can only expect to learn more about Winston’s ultimate goal in Chapter 4. Some are even speculating that he may become the main villain in the next installment.
