9 Things To Expect From Lord And Miller's Star Wars Han Solo Movie

6. OTT Action

They haven't done a great many yet, but Lord and Miller have dabbled in live-action action sequences in the Jump Street movies. On top of that, they've handled a good deal of computer-generated action sequences (an expertise that will undoubtedly come in handy on the Solo movie) in Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and The Lego Movie.

Consistent throughout both the live-action and animated action of this duo, however, is the completely overblown nature of it. Lord and Miller love nothing more than OTT destruction and carnage, and though there's no chance the casual violence of the Jump Street movies will make the leap to the Han Solo spin-off, the riotous, explosion-heavy aspect of it might.

As their budget goes up, Lord and Miller up the ante in the action stakes - note the jump from occasional stand-offs and car chases in 21 Jump Street, to gunfights and helicopter pursuits in 22 Jump Street, to all-out chaos in The Lego Movie. The Han Solo movie's budget will be huge, and its directors will have access to their biggest playground to date. Expect mayhem.
