6. Mr. Peabody and Sherman
Are you a child from the 1960s? Then you should be very excited for the Mr. Peabody and Sherman movie. Of course if you answered yes to that first question, it means that you are now at least 50 years old and would therefore have no interest in a Mr. Peabody and Sherman movie. Mr. Peabody was an animated dog that would travel back in time with his adopted human Sherman to educate and entertain kids. Their segment appeared in the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, which in itself received a film adaptation back in 2000. That went well, right? (No, it didn't). Mr. Peabody and Sherman is clearly aimed at kids, but kids today don't know who these characters are. If you're a parent with nostalgia you can drag your kid to the theater, but is it really worth it? I mean, were Peabody and Sherman even that funny? They were a cute way to learn about history in a six-minute segment. Not a 90-minute movie.
