3. Kingsman 3

The original Kingsman was a genuine surprise hit, blending classic spy tropes with modern, button-pushing filmmaking, proving once again that Matthew Vaughn is one of the best genre directors working today. Managing to spawn a sequel, The Golden Circle was set to be an even bigger and better version of the original, but it unfortunately lost its charm in favour of laddish b*llocks.

The upcoming instalment does sound promising though, with the aim being to wrap up Eggsy and Harry's story. However, it's also reportedly shooting back to back with a prequel movie, titled The Great Game, which will cast an eye back and follow The Statesmen in the early 20th Century.

Though both individually sound quite cool, The Golden Circle's problem was just how bloated it felt. Consequently, going even bigger and potentially shooting two movies simultaneously could spell disaster for the franchise, as it attempts to run before it can even walk.
