7. Leslie Mann - Blockers

Blockers was one of 2018's most pleasant surprises - a smart, sex-positive comedy with a cracking ensemble cast and one single weak link in it: Leslie Mann.

Mann has made a career out of playing shrill girlfriends, wives and mothers - and if we're being totally honest, being Judd Apatow's wife never hurt anybody - and her work here is mostly just a rehash of that same shtick.

Thankfully Mann is propped up by a great script and fantastic scene partners in John Cena and Ike Barinholtz, but her grating voice and samey, going-through-the-motions performance was the low-point in an otherwise hilarious studio comedy.
