After Skyfall: 10 Future Predictions For The James Bond Franchise

2. Filming on the Isle of Man

At the time of writing the Isle of Man government was set to buy up to a 19.9% share of Pinewood Shepperton Studies, the €˜home€™ of Bond. A little €˜selling out€™ can be alright in a Sandford €˜Greater Good€™ kind of way but the prospect of Bond coming to an ignominious paraplegic end on a motorcycle is an unwelcome one. Saying that, as long as the franchise manages to steer clear of making Bond up as a TT touting moto-freak then showing the Isle of Man for the beautiful place it can be could be massively beneficial for tourism. The point can€™t be made strongly enough, though: don€™t let Bond get anywhere near multi-coloured leather onesies. Reputations can be shattered that easily!

He is still a fan of both and he has no comment on what happened to all the ‘No Exit’ signs in Islington Underground Station when he visited for Beltaine.
