After Skyfall: 7 Actors Who Are Ripe to Play Bond Villains

7. Toby Jones

Kind of Villain: The Tactful Politician Jones has popped up in just about every kind of film all too briefly and just has the look of a classic Bond villain. Reminiscent of the days in which Bond would go quip for quip instead of blow for blow, it's about time we got another villain who's too dainty to get his own hands dirty, but can concoct one hell of an evil scheme. Bond baddies seem to work best with quirks and considering Jones is a character actor, this would certainly be within reach on the table. He could use the exposure, we could use the change. While there's great satisfaction in seeing Bond go hand-to-hand with the bad guy at the film's climax, we don't want the formula to get stale all over again, do we?

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
