Age Of Ultron: 10 Unlikely Things That Could Be Referenced

9. The Crimson Cowl

Marvel ComicsMarvel ComicsWhen Ultron first appeared, unnamed, in 1968 in Avengers #54, he was under the guise of the Crimson Cowl - and wouldn't it be cool to see something similar in the movie. Ultron will be wanting to take over the Earth in the movie and it is nigh on impossible to do something so elaborate without first knowing your target - he can't do everything from behind the scenes - so seeing him out in public and assessing the world, disguised in what he regards as human clothing (a wolf in sheep's clothing, so to speak), under a cowl that hides his face, would be cool, somewhat frightening and a great nod to his first comic book appearance. While actually calling himself "the Crimson Cowl" would never happen, seeing him dressed as such would be awesome and one for the fans to spot with their keen eyes and knowledge of Ultron's history.
