10. Captain Video / Mechano
Fawcett ComicsUltron's creation as a character came about thanks to Marvel writer Roy Thomas and Marvel artist John Buscema, way back in the 1960s. Both men acknowledge the fact that the idea for the character came from reading an obscure comic book called Captain Video. One particular issue of the comic, which was published in a six issue series by Fawcett Comics and was based on an American science fiction television series called Captain Video and His Video Rangers, featured an obscure villain who went by the name of Mechano - and it was seeing Mechano that prompted the pair to create Ultron for Marvel. Therefore, it would be a nice nod to both the men who created Ultron (one of whom - Buscema - sadly passed away in 2002) and to the general origins of the character if something about Captain Video or Mechano was included in the film. Perhaps it could be a poster in the background - as we've seen with Journey Into Mystery in the Thor movies - or an episode of the show on a television. However they did it, it would make for a cool little Easter egg for all you hunters out there.
