10. The Oedipus Complex

The comic book version of Ultron develops something of an Oedipus Complex - whereby he feels irrational hatred for his "father" (Hank Pym in the comics) and demonstrates an interest in Hank's lover Janet van Dyne. In the movie, Ultron's hate is towards humanity in general - not least towards his "father" Tony Stark - but the use of the "I've Got No Strings" song from Pinocchio, who calls Gepetto "father", certainly indicates a hatred of and desire to break free from Stark's control. It's an interesting choice of music to accompany the trailer and is certainly comparing Ultron to Pinocchio and therefore Stark to Gepetto - the whole "father" thing being important.
