Aladdin Trailer Reactions: 4 Ups & 5 Downs

1. It's A Huge Improvement Over The Teaser Trailer

And finally, there's no mistaking that this trailer is a massive improvement over that previous teaser, which rubbed just about everybody the wrong way and spelled out disaster from the jump.

That surge of negative PR will have unavoidably dented the film's marketing momentum moving forward, but this more comprehensive trailer should move the needle back closer to the middle.

For many, the nostalgic pull of the music will be all they need, while for others they'll be pleasantly surprised by Will Smith's Genie.

And even if you're understandably not quite convinced about the film yet, it's at least moving in the right direction as far as general public perception is concerned.

Simply, don't expect great things or even particularly good things from the film, but it's unlikely to be the trainwreck that the last teaser implied. It's something, right?

What do you make of the first full trailer for Aladdin? Shout it out in the comments!
