The Theory: Somehow, David finds a way to impregnate the Covenant's android, Walter, with a protomorph embryo, giving birth to the first ever android-alien hybrid.

The Truth: The movie thankfully doesn't even begin to tackle ideas like this, considering how much it already has to juggle. Instead, David presumably destroys Walter and steals his identity to escape the Engineer planet with Daniels and Tennessee.

It's probably just as well, because it's well-established that the protomorph embryo needs a human host in order to flourish, so explaining how it can thrive inside an android would likely require an incredibly convoluted explanation and risk further angering fans.
