7. It Sets Up An Alien-Predator Universe

The Theory: There will be a nod of some kind to Shane Black's upcoming The Predator movie, be it a direct, in-film reference or a more delineated post-credits scene.

The Truth: Aside from the fact that the neomorph aliens make a sound not too dissimilar from the Predator's iconic click vocalisation, there are zero apparent nods to the creature throughout the film.

In honesty, this is actually pretty surprising, considering that both properties are owned by Fox and it would've been incredibly easy to include a playful tip of the hat here.

Then again, perhaps Scott vetoed the idea out of the gate, considering his well-known disdain for the widely-maligned Alien vs. Predator movies.
