5. Shaw Gets The Alien 3 Treatment

It wasn't exactly surprising, but it sure was disappointing to see Dr. Shaw get the Alien 3 treatment, by being killed off-screen much like Newt and Hicks, her dissected corpse then being grotesquely displayed in David's lab.

Though her fate was undeniably horrifying, considering Scott did manage to secure Noomi Rapace for a part, it's a shame he wasted it on a YouTube prologue rather than give her a more substantial part in the full film, where even if she died, it'd feel more effective if we actually saw it happen.

Given that Prometheus' final hook was that Covenant would depict Shaw and David's trip to the Engineer homeworld, it feels like something of a bait-and-switch that this can never come to pass.
