One enigmatic images shows a tearful, visibly disturbed Daniels slowly walking into a room on the ship that one can assume contains a grotesque discovery of some kind.

She doesn't back away in fear, open fire or call for help, so it's most likely the destroyed corpse of one of her crewmates rather than an alien creature.

As for the tears? It's entirely possible Daniels just found out the original captain, played by James Franco, is dead, considering that she and Franco are reportedly lovers in the film. Speculate away!
