The previous trailer showed one of the "lesser" crew members stuck in the med-bay with Carmen Ejogo's character as a creature appeared to sprout out of his back, and Ejogo attempted to fight it off with a knife.

The new trailer shows Ejogo hastily escorting the poor sap back to the ship, likely just after he becomes infected by the black goo and starts to manifest symptoms. The first trailer shows the spores flying into his ear, so there doesn't seem to be much mystery here.

Boy, these trailers are giving away a lot of the character deaths, right?
