Alpha Flight: 10 Things You Need To Know About The MCU's Rumoured Super Team

Working as part of the Canadian government, Alpha Flight have crossed paths many times with possibly the greatest hero Marvel have from north of the border, Wolverine. Of course famed more for his association with Charles Xavier and the X-Men, Logan has played a huge role in the story of Alpha Flight.

The team actually debuted in 1979, serving as part of Wolverine's origin story. After Weapon X escaped the confines of Canada's government, Department H were sent to retrieve the mutant. Once Alpha Flight was re positioned as a super hero team, Wolverine was among the first recruits.

Later in Alpha Flight's life, the team played a big part in the Old Man Logan story arc. After fighting to save the team on an abandoned space station, the titular hero is forced to face the corpses of his former team mates.

There is a long, dark history between the Canadian super team and Wolverine, and should the rumours be true that Alpha Flight are making their way to the MCU, it's hard to see imagine that Logan won't be tied to them in some way, shape, or form.
