Alternate Versions Of Every MCU Movie We Almost Got To See

3. Thor: Ragnarok Without The Hulk

By far the most-acclaimed aspect of Thor: Ragnarok is the brilliant buddy movie vibe between Thor and The Hulk, which is wrapped around a (very) loose adaptation of the famed Planet Hulk comic book.

However, director Taika Waititi revealed that The Hulk wasn't originally supposed to be in Ragnarok at all, and the film was meant to focus squarely on Thor stranded on Sakaar on his own.

The Hulk being added to the film was especially ironic as Kevin Feige originally nixed the idea of The Hulk going to space at the end of Age of Ultron, for fear that it would convince audiences a Planet Hulk movie was on the way (which, at the time, it wasn't).

Would It Have Worked?: It probably would have, especially with Waititi at the helm and the film's many other appealing elements, but The Hulk adds a lot to the movie, and it would be weaker without his inclusion.
