The Amazing Spider-Man: 10 Spidey Movies That Must Be Made Next

8. The Amazing Spider-Man 4 (2018)

Like its predecessor, The Amazing Spider-Man 4 has already been dated for May 4th, 2018, and you have to suspect, if the Sinister Six movie is going to come between the two sequels, that the plot will feed directly off that. With the team set-up, and plans afoot, this movie should see one of those dastardly plots realised, with the villainous task-force combining their various gifts to take care of Spider-Man once and for all. Comic Book Reference Point: Mark Millar's Marvel Knights: Spider-Man Millar's excellent series puts Aunt May in danger, following the trend of anyone who gets even remotely affectionate with Peter Parker being put in mortal peril. Aunt May is kidnapped by a mysterious foe, who Parker learns are the Sinister Six, working under the direction of a villain who seems to know his identity. Most intriguingly, Millar's run on Marvel Knights explored issues of power, as well as the idea - implanted by Norman Osborn - that Peter could use his powers for a lot more than simply being a superhero. There would also be the opportunity to introduce Black Cat, the troubled, but brilliant anti-heroine, who would shake up the female dynamic of the universe, and potentially set up her own spin-off in future years. The end needs to set up Eddie Brock a little more - perhaps having him as a journalist covering Aunt May's kidnapping, who is envious of Spider-Man's powers.
