19. Stan Lee's Cameo

As usual the moustachioed Marvel supremo makes his appearance in the film, this time as a member of the audience at Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy's graduation. After the opening sequence, Parker is late for the ceremony, and gets changed on the fly (or on the swing), dangerously close to people who could witness it, as proved when Lee sees him remove his mask. Oddly, the cameo seems to suggest that he is actually playing himself, given that he looks around for Parker the same way that Aunt May does when she noticed he is not yet there, and then says "I think I know that guy" when he spies Parker with his Spidey mask on.
