9. Who Are The Six?

Some speculation has suggested that we already know the Sinister Six, thanks to hints and explicit reveals from the two Amazing Spider-Man films, which would seem to suggest that the line-up we will see in the forthcoming spin-off will be Green Goblin, Rhino, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Vulture and Lizard. But, the events of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 have left Electro apparently dead (more of which soon) and Rhino has already faced off against Spidey. So either he's going to run away, or get captured again, because there's no way he could possibly defeat Spider-Man in that climactic battle. And Lizard didn't exactly seem up for villainy when he told the Man In The Shadows at the end of the first movie that he should leave Peter Parker alone. So where exactly does he slot in? The only definites seem to be Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Vulture and Rhino (however they sort that situation out), and the revelation at the end of the sequel throws fear-monger Mister Fear into the mix in a big way.
