2. Venom

Aside from Morbius, the biggest character hint from the Oscorp Files that Norman Osborn passes on to Harry points towards the presence of Venom, confirming the barely hidden fact that the symbiote will appear in forthcoming Spider-Man universe films (starting, presumably, with his own spin-off). It's no secret that the black beast who appeared previously in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 will be involved in Webb's universe, but the Amazing Spider-Man 2 did seem to suggest that Venom is either going to be presented as a discovery of Oscorp or as an invention, given its presence in Norman Osborn's secret files, and perhaps not as the alien creature that it was presented as in the comics. The inter-galactic origin might well still play some part, but it's (hopefully) unlikely that we'll see Venom on his own planet in the spin-off, rejected as insane by his own kind for wanting to bond with its host, since there swerving wildly to another planet might feel like too much of a departure from Sony's grand plan for a cohesive universe.
