6. The Film Is Packed With Incredible Action Sequences
One of the biggest things fans will notice from the trailer is how well director Marc Webb has handled the big action sequences. Though the first film definitely had its moments, Webb has upped the ante here, and this trailer shows off some incredible shots of Spider-Man facing off against his foes. Right off the bat we're shown Spider-Man landing on a spinning car and catch it before it hits a police officer, and then we're treated to several great shots of him swinging through the city, dodging machine gun fire, and in the trailer's most impressive sequence, facing off against Electro.
If this trailer is any indication, it appears that Spider-Man will be doing a LOT of fighting here, and more so than just punching a few bad guys. He's really going to be put to the test (how do you defeat someone who can shoot and teleport through electricity?!) and we're bound to get some of the best action sequences we've ever seen in a superhero film.
