7. Spider-Slayers

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, B.J. Novak portrayed Alistair Smythe. The movie presented Smythe as something of a bully, given his treatment of Max Dillon, who worked for Oscorp and viral marketing campaigns prior to the movie's release congratulated the character on being promoted to Director of Robotics. In the comics, Alistair is the son of Spencer Smythe - himself an inventor - and the man responsible for the Spider-Slayer robots. These robots were designed specifically to combat Spider-Man and, given that the character is included the franchise and is Oscorp's Director of Robotics, we can surely expect to see him creating these robots for that very purpose in the next movie. Smythe also genetically altered himself in the comics to become "the Ultimate Spider-Slayer", so we may well see that transformation in future movies as well.
