1. Ice Cream Man 2: Sundae Bloody Sundae
1995's Clint Howard-starring comedy slasher Ice Cream Man wasn't a commercial success during its original straight-to-video release, but has garnered quite the cult following in the 30-plus years since.
And back in 2014, a Kickstarter campaign was revealed for a sequel with the undeniably hilarious title, Ice Cream Man 2: Sundae Bloody Sundae.
Despite a funding goal of $300,000, the campaign amassed barely $4,000 and was closed shortly thereafter, seemingly putting the sequel on, well, ice.
The filmmakers began exploring other avenues to fund the sequel, though we heard virtually nothing for the better part of a decade, until in 2023 Howard posted a video on Instagram revealing that a script was written and a table read had taken place.
In 2025, Howard added that Ice Cream Man 2 was in pre-production, yet considering both the struggles to fund the sequel and Eli Roth's recent decision to direct his own totally unrelated slasher film called Ice Cream Man, it feels like there's just not enough oxygen in the room for Ice Cream Man 2 to ever come to life.
