13. The Last Witch Hunter 2
One of the more surprising movie announcements in recent times was the news that a sequel is on the way to Vin Diesel's 2015 fantasy-action dud The Last Witch Hunter.
Considering the original film was widely panned by critics and grossed less than $150 million against a $90 million budget, basically nobody was expecting a sequel - especially not more than a decade after the fact.
Even more shockingly, Diesel later confirmed that his good friend Michael Caine - who had a supporting part in the first film - would be coming out of retirement to reprise his role.
But let's be real - Diesel talks a lot of talk, and often waxes enthusiastically about movies that, for one reason or another, never actually get made.
And so, who among us will believe that a sequel to one of the most forgettable genre films of the last 15 years is actually happening until we see it for ourselves?
Expect this one to languish in development hell forevermore.
