Another New Image Of Black Panther From Captain America: Civil War Because Marvel Really Like You

Also news about his father.

After releasing their new Captain America: Civil War-infested cover yesterday, Entertainment Weekly have doubled down and decided to give us another new image of Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther, once again glimpsed in full regalia once again looking pretty badass. I find it funny that there hasn't been a single image, official or otherwise, of Chadwick Boseman's actual face. There are also some tidbits from Boseman about Panther's role in the "war" - I use that term lightly, as so far the film's big set-piece looks like a minor scuffle in an airport - where he seemingly confirms that T'Challa's father, T'Chaka (the King of Wakanda) will play a part in the film, if not exactly glimpsed on-screen:
€œThere definitely is a sort of tradition that he€™s torn between, in terms of how things were done in the past and how things need to happen now in this new world... I think there€™s perhaps a bit of a maverick there, and then there€™s also a need to live up to traditions and his father€™s legacy. And not even his father€™s legacy, but the entire nation of Wakanda."
As no actor has been cast in the role of Panther's pa, it's safe to say we won't actually see him until the prodigal son's solo movie in 2018. But it's nice to have this confirmation that there are strong elements of Black Panther's origin firmly in place. Captain America: Civil War is released in the UK on 29th April 2016 and in the US on 6th May.
