Ant-Man: 10 Most Anticipated Easter Eggs We Hope To See
6. Future Villains
Unfortunately, Ant-Man has never had the most sterling, or even believable, rogues gallery. This is largely because the different incarnations of the character tend to operate as part of a larger team. The main villain of the first film is set to be Yellowjacket, a character with the same, if more advanced, abilities as Ant-Man himself. But an endless series of villains with the same or similar powers are unlikely to make for good viewing in future movies. In the same way that Batman Begins teased the appearance of the Joker for the Dark Knight, it would be easy to slip in a few references to other villains from the Marvel universe that either Scott Lang or the Avengers will face in the future. One of Scott Lang's biggest enemies is the Absorbing Man, better known as Carl Creel who was originally a Thor villain, but later became an enemy of Ant-Man. The character has already appeared in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., so there's a chance he could play a bigger part further down the line. Significantly, Creel, like Scott, also spent several years in prison. As at least part of the film will follow Lang's time in jail, it would be nice to see Creel as a fellow inmate. Another possible future villain is the Taskmaster, a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who turned rogue after gaining a perfect photographic memory.
With a (nearly) useless degree in English literature and a personal trainer qualification he's never used, Freddie spends his times writing things that he hopes will somehow pay the rent. He's also a former professional singer, and plays the saxophone and ukulele. He's not really used to talking about himself in the third person, and would like to stop now, thanks.
