Ant-Man: 10 Most Anticipated Easter Eggs We Hope To See
4. The Illuminati
A secret society formed of the most powerful, influential, and intelligent men in the Marvel universe, the Illuminati have been working behind the scenes to keep the world safe. In the comics, the group have previously launched the Hulk into space to get rid of him (he came back), and divided the Infinity Gems between them to keep them out of the hands of the likes of Thanos. In their current comic book incarnation, the Illuminati have been working to stop the death of the multiverse by destroying parallel Earths from different universes before they can collide with our own. So, what does this have to do with Ant-Man? One of the current members of the team is Hank Pym, generally accepted as one of the most intelligent heroes in the Marvel universe. With founding members such as Mr Fantastic and Professor Xavier unavailable due to copyright issues, and others such as Tony Stark, Stephen Strange, and Black Panther already set to make an appearance, it would be cool to see Hank Pym inducted into the society, or at least involved with them in some way. We already know that Hank Pym has operated as Ant-Man in the past, so having him as part of a historical team that predates the Avengers is something we'd love to see.
With a (nearly) useless degree in English literature and a personal trainer qualification he's never used, Freddie spends his times writing things that he hopes will somehow pay the rent. He's also a former professional singer, and plays the saxophone and ukulele. He's not really used to talking about himself in the third person, and would like to stop now, thanks.
