Ant-Man: 10 Potential Roles For Corey Stoll

9. Whirlwind

Who? A recurring villain of Hank Pym (as Giant Man) and Wasp, David Cannon aka the mutant Whirlwind used his speed powers to rob jewelry stores, coming into conflict with The Avengers and other heroes on a regular basis until he took on a new persona as Janet Van Dyne's personal chauffeur for the purposes of alternately robbing and making a pass at her while Hank's out of the picture. He's been an occasional member of supervillain groups The Masters Of Evil and The Lethal Legion and is generally considered a criminal for hire, but his long history with Ant-Man and Wasp could certainly yield an interesting hero-villain dynamic in Wright's film. Why Stoll Could Play Him: Stoll's got his hangdog expressions down to a fine art, so it wouldn't be a stretch to see him as a villain/chauffeur secretly pining for Ant-Man's lady (Evangeline Lilly has been cast in the movie as an as-yet-unnamed character, but the word on the street is that she's Pym's daughter and Lang's love interest) while he plots attacks on the hero.
