Because Kang has integrated himself into multiple timelines, there are many parallel versions of the character. The most famous alternate incarnation of the supervillain is Immortus. This variant of Kang doesn't conquer timelines - he safeguards them.

In another time, Nathaniel Richards learned he was destined to become a supervillain and so adopted a new identity called Kid Immortus. He eventually learned that this decision would cause an older version of himself to merge with Doctor Doom and Annihilus to become Doom the Annihilating Conqueror.

Another incarnation of Kang was so impressed with Doctor Doom's ability to instils fear in his enemies, it inspired him to become a totalitarian dictator like Doom called the Scarlet Centurion. Kang's son, Marcus, later adopted the moniker of Scarlet Centurion and ruled by his father's side.

Due to a chronal glitch , one version of Kang became stuck in the 21st century. Trying to make the best of his situation, he adopted the persona of Mister Gryphon and became the CEO of his own company, Qeng Enterprises. Because of his knowledge of the future (and the help of a few supervillains), his company became massively successful.
