There's no reason to believe that Iron Lad won't be part of the Young Avengers, and Marvel Studios hiring an up-and-coming Black actor to play the new Iron Man - even if it's just for one movie - is exciting on a number of levels. The way his story ends is tragic (he has to wipe himself from history to preserve the timeline and cement his transformation into Kang), but what about Ironheart?

Fans have been wondering how Marvel Studios can go about introducing Riri Williams, the young Black woman who becomes Ironheart in the comic books, especially when it's unlikely Robert Downey Jr. would be willing to return as an A.I. version of Tony Stark.

Well, why not make Riri a relative of Kang's? While this would make her a distant relative of Reed and Sue Storm-Richards, she could be Kang's daughter, his great, great-grandmother, or, well, anything really! Using his technology to become Ironheart, Ant-Man 3 could introduce a brand new hero to this shared world in an inventive and crazy way that adds some diversity to the Young Avengers.
