4. Time-Travel Becomes The Norm

In case it isn't already clear, time-travel is a confusing and interesting storytelling concept. Now, though, with Kang the Conqueror about to make his presence felt in the MCU, it feels like that could become the norm for this shared world. Needless to say, that opens the door to a vast array of storytelling possibilities, both involving this villain and other characters.

Kang is the sort of character who can become a recurring threat, repeatedly returning to the present in a bid to conquer it, coming to blows with both The Avengers and Fantastic Four in the process.

Future timelines have also become a huge part of the X-Men comic books over the years, and everything from "Age of Apocalypse" to "Days of Future Past" could now be touched on in stories revolving around those heroes. Throw in the introduction of the TVA in Loki and What If? exploring different realities, and it seems time-travel is here to stay in the MCU.

Time-travel could even be used to explain the long overdue arrival of the X-Men and Fantastic Four!
