Ant-Man And The Wasp: 10 Reasons To Be Excited
4. The Cast In General
On top of the additions of Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne, Ant-Man and The Wasp will also be introducing a whole new group of actors to the MCU, including Walton Goggins (who'll play onetime Iron Man villain Sonny Burch), Hannah-John Kamen (as The Ghost), and Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, an Agent of SHIELD.
These new additions add to what is, already, a terrific-looking cast. Park in particular should be fantastic in the role of Woo - a longtime SHIELD agent and one of the organisation's most prominent characters. The additions of both Goggins and Kamen are also easy to get excited about, especially when their characters (Burch and Ghost respectively) have cropped up occasionally as villains to Tony Stark's Iron Man.
The characters involved certainly point towards the flick once again looking at the corporate aspect of the Marvel Universe, and indeed, elements of espionage as well. While it may be taking a distinctly more eighties route to the spy genre, and not, as was the case in Winter Soldier, Cap's paranoid and distinctly seventies blend, there's still plenty of reason to be excited. Plus, come on, the eighties are totally in right now.
